LEVI TAFARI VISIT
Poem related to Discrimination
Below, you can see a poem related to the feelings that discrimination produces.
QUESTIONS
1) WHAT ARE YOUR FEELINGS ABOUT IT?
2) WHAT WOULD YOU DO TO PREVENT IT?
3) WRITE A SHORT POEM ( 5-10 VERSES) WHERE YOU APPROACH YOUR POINT OF VIEW ABOUT THIS TOPIC.
Discrimination Here's You Come and Go
Discrimination’s like a snake
Its teeth in poisoned prejudice,
Causing ache
Discrimination abolished all warmth and spirit
And returned with a new hate
Relishing its pain brought
Never thought of halt
Hey
Discrimination’s the new law
Stony and steel and
Square without feelings
Like window frames
Of the Hall
In court
I wonder where the White’s Purity all gone.
Tears and Fears
Now the norm
In the name
Of discrimination
now
Gladly Discrimination has gone
Kicked out hard,
square and fair
Yet-
It left a hole
In everyone’s hearts.

New-updated poets generation
Dear Students,
Some of your classmates have created this poem ( I am not going to tell their names due to I don't know if they really want it). Please, if you want, write them back personally on the blog.
SHE IS THE DONE,
WHEN HER EYES LOOK AT ME,
I CAN'T STAND UP!
IT'S A MISTERY....
THIS IS LOVELY
IT'S THE ONE FOR ME
